Why mass conservation breaks physics

Density = mass / volume. Volume scales with the cube of linear size. Shrink your height by 10× and your volume drops by 1000×, so with mass held fixed your density rises 1000×.

At ant size (5 mm vs 1.75 m ≈ 1/350): density climbs by ~350³ ≈ 43 million × water — denser than the core of a neutron star. A pinhead-sized you would punch straight through the Earth's mantle.

The black-hole threshold

The Schwarzschild radius is r = 2GM/c². For a 75 kg person that is about 1.1×10⁻²⁵ m. Compress your body smaller than that radius and nothing — not even light — escapes.

To get there you'd need a linear scale near 10⁻²⁵ (1.75 m → 10⁻²⁵ m). Marvel's "Quantum Realm" sits around 10⁻¹⁵ m, the size of an atomic nucleus — still ten orders of magnitude short of gravitational collapse, yet already deep in neutron-star density.

Going the other way (Giant-Man)

If mass is conserved while you grow, a 20 m Giant-Man has the density of cotton candy and would blow away in a breeze.

If instead mass scales with volume (more realistic), a 20 m Giant-Man weighs ~1,000,000 kg and his bones shatter under his own weight — the square-cube law again.
